Cliff-face bar and restaurants venue on the North West top of San Francisco
It is harsh to be judging a restaurant based on one dish so whilst this score is low, I am acutely aware this is not the whole story as there are multiple other dishes and in two different dining venues. However I can but only describe the pretty awful Croque Madame (a Monsieur with eggs) that I had here with huge wedge and unevenly cut slice of white toast with loose and careless cheese topping, ham slabs that were stone-cold (causing the cheese and toast to be cold) and overdone eggs. So that was disappointing in the lower deck (and main) restaurant area, however the good here is a vibrant atmosphere in the more casual restaurant on the upper level and a picturesque view of the ocean which, maybe better on a sunnier and less bird-pooh day (the latter not being very likely). Based on this, if the downstairs area is the more refined version, I would gentle steer is I would opt for the more bustling upstairs area to make your money go probably further respectively. Or, simply go in here for a drink as is a cracking view and vantage point for that either way.
