Cafe within the Daylesford farm itself serving local produce and simple classics
This is, without doubt, one of the loveliest places to visit in the UK even if you are not buying anything. The farmshop has an abundant selection of produce from the farm itself, teepees in the garden providing yoga and meditation sessions (at a premium) and of course an attractive cafe. Welsh rarebit on thick sourdough with blackberry and apple chutney for £10 was fair, glorious eggs florentine (£13) were actually very good and the beef burger at £16 proved to be something unspecial. The total bill for these and one drink was £54 and actually not that bad – it is the farmshop itself you will need to be careful at, as a simple shop for some essentials can literally dent your monthly allowance. There are many beautiful pieces of homeware to tempt you in the shop as well and I love the way in which there are complimentary Tesla chargers here for visits as well. Nice visit as always and some pleasant, simple food in the cafe.
