Bistro of hotel Auberge de Soleil with a stunning terrace view overlooking Napa Valley
Auberge de Soleil is a five-star hotel in one of Napa’s main towns (Rutherford) with a Michelin starred restaurant as their flagship dining experience and a bistro with a stunning view overlooking Napa Valley. This visit to the bistro showed wonderful service, where we were provided for as far as possible. The food proved to be simple, comfort food and nothing more with an absolutely stunning view. The ribs had a somewhat gloopy sauce, the pasta was harmless carbohydrate with assorted, vegetable pieces and the fries had a particularly acidic aioli mayonnaise to serve as the dip. In spite of the food however, I would definitely recommend coming to the bistro, even if it was just for chips as an excuse to get a table on the terrace and sink a few, lovely glasses of wine as an entirely wonderful afternoon activity.
