Beautiful courtyard brasserie of The Corinthia Hotel
For the background on The Garden at The Corinthia please see my initial review of 26 Oct 25 which includes its link with the Luxury Restaurant Guide (LRG). I have been here on several occasions now and am very pleased to see the menu evolving. This latest visit started with the large white bread pretzel with creme fraiche and paprika again which was very welcome and a genuinely good preamble which is a good filler starter. On this occasion I enjoyed the currywurst and mixed leaf salad. The currywurst was as one can expect from bratwurst but I thought the handling of the curry sauce was nicely done as this was more spiced tomato based rather than stodgy sauce as is usually done. The sour kraut base was shredded and nicely pickled and also a pleasure to have in this presentational way. The pickling of the vegetables helped with the quantity of the rich sausage.

This is a little gem of London. Sheltered from the rain by umbrellas and with heat lamps and fireplaces for any cold, this small, courtyard area has been converted in to a charming all day dining (from lunchtime) area of the 5 star Corinthia Hotel. It is also linked to the Luxury Restaurant Guide (LRG) for a complimentary glass of champagne when dining on advertised days. I have been here on three occasions now and each time has produced very satisfying snacks and ‘fillers’ including a frankly superb nduja mini pizza (excellent dough), a quality, creamed white onion soup with truffle and something I haven’t had in a long time, raclette (a Swiss dish of melted cheese on potatoes with garnish). The hospitality here is also a quality act and I especially enjoy the staff do not put any pressure on you to have a three course meal each time and look after you to have whatever little bits or full meal you wish. I really rate here and recommend you visit. If you are a LRG member, make sure to quote your membership in the notes of the booking online.

My hobby-turned-passion began to evolve during my assignments to London where I was fortunate enough to be able to explore all the Michelin starred restaurants in my spare time and as a result, I gradually built up a catalogue of all these venues.
