Limited chain of burgers in the UK
At time of writing there are nine MEATliquors in the UK, seven of which are in the London (the other two being in Brighton and Leeds). There’s no doubt this a fun and vibrant interior, resembling a fluorescent, techno rave interior and it is all day dining and walk ins welcome at all times. Burgers are a true comfort bliss for me so I am always keen to try ones where reportedly lots of care has gone in to them however, this was a little disappointing to the hype received. The bacon was almost like steamed, thick ham with no crunch which I didn’t think worked very well and the melted cheese sauce was no, real substitute for a very good burger sauce. I liked the abundance of tissues and sauces at each table which was a good touch and you could do worse for a burger naturally, but at £13.75, I would prefer to spend that at Bleecker Burger as I simply know the return is better.
