Japanese sake bar in Raffles Hotel, London located in the former Old War Office building
This is a wonderful option for lovely bar snacks. This is the main bar for the Kioku restaurant which is at the top of Raffles Hotel and this bar is on the ground floor, accessible by a side entrance. The bar snacks range from £6 to £15 with a choice of 140+ sakes (the biggest selection of sakes in the UK) ranging to a lot more. As long as you can navigate around not being so seduced by the offers of the latter, you can get a wonderful Kirin Japanese beer for £7.50 here and snack for around £15 including the 15% service charge. If I could, I would have this each evening and is wonderful pre-dinner, pre-show or supper substitute option in any case. This is a quality venue and option in every way.
