Meats and grills restaurant within 45 Park Lane Hotel
The Cut is a meats a grills restaurant set within 45 Park Lane which is the smaller, sister hotel to The Dorchester (located a stone throw away on Park Lane as well). There is a range of good beef options and I was more pleasantly surprised by the superb veloute served on the set menu lunch (3 courses for £45). I was impressed with the selection of mini burger (slider) and tuna tartare cone canapé options normally at a supplement and the USDA Prime sirloin was indeed a very good piece of beef from the a la carte. Whilst the interior design is not the cosiest (a narrow hotel lobby style of restaurant), the meats options and lunch menu are certainly a good choice should a steak option in the area be needed.
